One of my favorite things to crochet is little preemie hats for the local hospitals. I recently stitched up a couple of Christmas hats to donate to The Preemie Project. Aren't these cute? Unfortunately, I made these both up as I went along and didn't keep notes on how to make them - isn't that terrible!?
The red hat is a pretty basic beanie, similar to the Simply Soft Preemie Hat Pattern. I crocheted the bow using this wonderful pattern: Easy Crochet Bow.
The little elf hat is more complicated. I started with 4 stitches in a magic ring and just increased when it felt right. I will try to find time to make another and this time keep track of the pattern!
